BIO:

Bill Kidwell founder and President of IMMAAG began his career in consumer credit 42 years ago and likes to joke that he may be one of only a handful of people around today who can actually explain why Truth in Lending exists because his first full time job was as a manager in the sector of the loan industry that caused the Feds to pass the TILA and to implement Regulation Z. Since that early experience, Bill has gone on to over 40 years experience in financial services, secondary market activity, and loan product development and management. With an equal mix of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in financial services, manufacturing and retail, Bill joined the mortgage industry in 2004. Since then he has been elected to the board of directors of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers, was selected the 2006 Colorado Mortgage Broker of the Year and elected President of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers in 2007. Since 2004, he not only has run his own mortgage company but was appointed to the Colorado Division of Real Estate Mortgage Broker Rule Making Task Force, served on the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Panel for Affordable Housing and continues to serve on the Government Affairs committee for both the state and national association of mortgage brokers. In 2007, Bill founded IMMAAG. He felt the independent mortgage broker needed someone outside the box to follow and report on legislative, regulatory and industry issues while providing an ally to help coalesce positions and try to influence change that actually would serve the consumer and the industry. Bill, his lovely wife Vel and the wonderful granddaughter they raised, Amber; live in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado. Bill believes firmly in tilting at windmills!

3. Polish your 60 second announcement (you will be timed and cut off if you go long!!!).

DIRECTIONS: This is just south of I225 and DTC Boulevard). The door and parking lot opens on the west side of the building to Ulster.  Look for the flags in the parking lot. The easiest way to find Morton & Co's office is to exit I-25 at Belleview and head east towards Ulster Street, then turn left or north on Ulster. The building is on the North East corner of Ulster & Tuffs (4600 S. Ulster Street), located TWO BUILDINGS north of McCormick's and Schmick's. The parking lot entrance is immediately right after the bus stop on the right-hand side. There is a PENDUM sign as you enter the driveway, turn left towards the next building. The building is connected to a similar, taller office building on south side by a large flagstone patio and wall. There are flags in front of the parking lot on the west side of the building.

If you haven't been here before, I suggest that you use Google Maps on the EventBrite invitation to get the detailed location as it may be hard to find the first time.

Lance Butler, our host, instructed building security to keep the front doors open until 6:00 pm.  If the doors are not open, please call us on our cell telephones and Lance or others will let you in.
